Hello Music Lover!

This year’s compelling election cycle has finally come to a close, and the holidays are right around the corner. Here is my age-old blessing for you and your loved ones in the coming year and beyond:

“Live long and prosper.”
-- Spock of Star Trek

Fortunately, we do have something to say about our own wealth and health. Our nation has spoken up and chosen the intelligent leadership of President-elect Barack Obama. This new direction, along with our fortitude as American citizens, gives promise to a stronger economy for everyone in due time.

We also have the power to influence the quality and length of our own lives. Recently, I  discovered an intriguing website that helped me determine my life expectancy. I answered 40 quick questions about my life style, diet, overall health and genetic predisposition to find out to what age I may live. Then I learned a few simple ways to add quality years to my life. Try it for yourself!

I am expected to live to 103! But I could add 6 more years if I clean up my act. This may be a good time to make those New Year’s Resolutions.

Speaking of the new year, hurry and make your reservation for the celebration that will kick off 2009 in style. Join me on New Year’s Eve for the party of the year, and hear some of the Bay Area’s hottest musicians groovin' on your smooth jazz favorites.

P.S. Well, did you take the life expectancy test? No? What are you waiting for? You don’t want to know the result because then you might have to DO something about it? Oh, GROW UP!
“If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself!”
