Hello Music Lover,

The artistís path is truly spiritual, as we have offered our life in service to something beyond and greater than ourselves. The artist has an ìinner necessityî to create new forms that express what we are experiencing. We tap into our creative nature, alchemically re-create and transform ourselves, and potentially change the world in which we live in the process.
-- paraphrased from "The Artist As Healer of the World" by Paul Levy

Inspiring and awakening listeners through my music has always been my mission. Through the years, I have found that I am most effective when I am authentically expressing my experiences, thoughts and feelings in a way that resonates with others. Often, the response to these expressions indicate that I have tapped into a current background emotional state of humanity. For instance at this moment, perhaps you also sense a pervasive underlying anxiety about the future of our world.

The beautiful and moving film, Home (2009), is a MUST SEE documentary about our precious planet. The stunning cinematography will make you fall in love with our Mother Earth all over again. And then your heart may be broken.  It took over 4 billion years for the Earth to make the first trees. We humans came into being just 200,000 years ago, yet we have succeeded in disrupting the balance so essential to life. In just the past 50 years alone, in my lifetime, the devastation to our small blue planet has created consequences that no one can predict. This happened on my watch and yours. We must face the facts and do our best to make some big changes very quickly.

All of us who have the courage to look at the science of global warming full-on wrestle with despair. Yet, many believe we have a moral obligation never to give up. Even if we are all doomed (and nobody gets out of here alive), someone has to start making right choices. Someone like you and me. Right action is the antidote to despair. We can make a powerful personal statement with every thought we give energy to and every choice we make.

So why not express love and do what you love? Live a life of simplicity and excellence. Continue insisting on justice. Act with the courage, compassion and cooperation that has long helped humans surmount adversity. Since everything we've ever lived and fought for is on the line, it's time to come together and really engage as if our life and our life's work, even life itself, depended on it. Because they do.

--paraphrased from "Straight From The Heart," an exceptionally well researched article about Climate Change by veteran Canadian journalist Will Thomas. This is WORTH READING from beginning to end.

My life's work in the arts continues to be the passion that is nourished by my realizations about our world. If you would like to follow my ponderings and eye-opening discoveries more closely, please Friend or Follow me on Facebook. I would love to share with you. Now, more than ever, I seek opportunities to use my music to raise awareness, inspire, and bring joy to the lives of those who listen.

Glance to the right at the list of my upcoming performances and choose a few to come out and enjoy. Every moment is a precious opportunity to appreciate what life has to offer!
