of Palo Alto. Vandivier is
a guitarist skilled at sparking the
intellect, warming the heart,
and raising the spirit of listeners. He
has the subtle sophistication of a premier
jazz guitarist, but plays with fire and
groove.

Moonraker Restaurant in
Pacifica is a little known coastal gem that
offers stunning views of the sun setting over
the ocean.
The food is delicious, and the music drifting
out from the bar area provides the perfect
backdrop. This week,
I will be playing a variety of jazz standards
and smooth jazz instrumentals
accompanied by
keyboardist Imanuel
Junaedy of Daly City. Imanuel is a
young, hip player who began studying piano as
a child in Indonesia. He has performed jazz,
soul, R&B and pop styles with various
bands in the SF Bay Area since 2007, while
earning a degree in jazz studies from SF
State.
