This week, I was invited
to speak on-air during the Coastside Carousel
Show with Kellie Morlock of KHMB about my new
album release, Feels So Good.
During the short 20-minute interview, we had
an upbeat conversation about the inspiration
behind the live recording and the wonderful
musicians who performed. Between music clips,
I also shared stories about spending time
with one of my sax heroes, David Sanborn, and
about my experience of playing for the King
of Thailand's Golden
Jubilee.

The fun
continues with my new "Sax at the
Movies" series. My friends and
neighbors in the audience have a blast
guessing the names of each movie theme that
we play! Keyboardist Thomas
Suczek and I will be back on
Friday, April 13 to perform a whole new set
of theme songs from classic films to
blockbuster hits including audience requests
from our last
show. The Wine
Room Moss Beach is an intimate venue and a
great listening room right here on the
coastside. Enjoy free popcorn, drink specials
and no cover charge!

beautiful downtown Half Moon Bay, then
stopping in to sip a delicious glass of wine
while relaxing to the sounds of Latin jazz?
Vinoteca is
a trendy new wine room
located in the historic Zaballa Square plaza
at the north end of town. Guitarist Brad
Buethe of San Francisco will
join me as we add an exotic ambiance by
playing our favorite melodic bossa novas and
sambas. Delightful!

The Moss Beach Distillery feels
like my second kitchen, and I love to walk
over to meet good friends there. So,
performing at this historic neighborhood gem
is icing on the cake! My "Sunset Sax
& Guitar" series features yours truly on
saxophones and a different talented jazz
guitarist each time. Jeff
Massanari of Oakland will be my guest
next Thursday, April 26.
An
energized guitarist whose playing has a
buoyant character, Jeff's ability to take off
from the melodies with waves of original
ideas make his improvisations very
appealing.
Never a cover for the live
