ancient origins

Hello friend,

Spring is a time of earth renewal and whether we are conscious of it or not, we may notice that in our ancient bones we too are feeling called to awaken and renew ourselves.

If we pause to reflect upon the symbolism of the foods, rituals and festivities of the spring, we can gain a valuable perspective into the energy, mystery and magic available to us at these times. With this awareness, we can drop into our own hearts and find the medicine we each need, creating new and personal rituals with ancient tools and deep meaning.

Ever wonder what’s up with all of those bunnies and colored eggs? Let’s explore the ancient origins of these symbols during the full moon on the Wednesday before Easter.

If you do not already have tickets, I invite you to join our sacred circle for the Ostara Full Moon Ceremony ~ Native Flute Meditation and Shamanic Journey in-person at Community United Methodist Church in Half Moon Bay CA next Wednesday, April 5 2023 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Space is limited, so please purchase your tickets in advance.

A portion of proceeds benefits the Lakota People’s Law Project  which partners with Native communities to protect sacred lands, safeguard human rights, promote sustainability, reunite indigenous families, and much more.

Gather in sacred circle at dusk when the veils between worlds are thinnest and as the reflected light of the full moon illuminates our inner world so that we may release that which no longer serves us.

Let go of everyday concerns and rest in peaceful meditation to the soothing sounds of Native American Flute music played live.

Journey with the drum to the unseen realms to connect with compassionate guardian spirits for guidance and healing through direct revelation.

An understanding of the myths and spirituality of our ancient ancestors adds such depth to our modern day experience of these sacred holy days.

Hugs and blessings,

Sonya
