As we move into a new year, I am
feeling a bit nostalgic. Seven years ago,
I presented a popular monthly show at the
old Wine Room in Moss Beach that became a
coastside hit. Sax at the Movies was so
much fun that I think it deserves a
reprise.
For one night only, you can
enjoy those favorite themes from classic
films and TV shows played by yours truly
on saxophone - this time with the
versatile and talented guitarist Dan
Nieckarz of Santa Clara.
Our tunes will evoke memorable
moments from classic movies including
Casablanca, Days of Wine and Roses, Porgy
and Bess, The Sandpiper, Breakfast at
Tiffanys, and Blue Hawaii, as well as TV
themes from Bewitched, The Odd Couple,
The Flintstones and much more.
